For my ISU topic, I decided upon the issue of Genocide. It is mistaken that a genocide can only be categorized by a mass killing a of certain ethnicity or group of people, though not always the case. A genocide can be defined as killing members of the group, causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group, deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part, imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group and forcibly transferring children of the group to another group. In this this ISU, I will discuss how each of these can be seen with case studies in Myanmar, South Sudan and Syria
