Ocean Pollution is the negative impact that human activity has on the ocean. Types of ocean pollution include physical, chemical, and biological pollution. This paper explores the causes of this pollution as well as its effects on biodiversity, human health, and the ecosystem. Case studies on The Great Barrier Reef, the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, and the Mediterranean Sea were written. I chose this topic because I am very interested in the ocean and I wanted to be more aware of what is happening to it.
