My isu topic is the mistreatment of mentally ill in developing countries. Essentially, in under developed countries, there is a major lack of access to education and health care for mental health patients, This results in stigmatization and mistreatment. The ultimately issue focuses on the religious aspects, specifically the influence spirituality has on the abuse and discrimination. The three case studies included in the isu were on Uganda, India and Haiti.
