I chose to write my ISU paper on the misappropriation of nonprofit funds and charitable donations. This is when a charity or nonprofit organization uses donation money for reasons other than specified. I chose this topic because I found an interest in it after watching a show that talked about charities that lied about how much of the donations went to the cause. In my paper I was able to fund cases of this in China, Haiti and the Gaza Strip. These were all similar cases and I chose them because they showed the diversity of this issue
