I decided to do my ISU on Gender inequality in developing countries. I chose gender inequality as my topic for my ISU because it is an issue that I have feel passionately about. It is also an issue I find very interesting and I wanted to know more about it. Gender inequality in developing countries is an issue that encompasses things such as domestic and sexual abuse, genital mutilation, and discrimination against women. To analyze this topic, I conducted case studies in Peru, Saudi Arabia, and India, for the purpose of exploring the extent of gender inequality in these countries. I chose these three countries because they are all countries that are historically notorious for having severe cases of gender inequality.
