OPPRESSION OF THE WEAK

By: Niko Hoogeveen and Maeve Winter

Far before the Formative Period in Hinduism during 2,500 BCE and prior to the birth of Muhammad in 570 CE from Islam, the world was nothing but chaos and darkness. Cultivated from the depths of the universe, was a God, the Oppressor of Weakness. It was created from the beliefs of Hinduism and Islam, where it impacted the most issues after its creation. The Oppressor discovered Earth and created a world of light, where mountains towered over valleys of flora, and where the ocean flowed ever so peacefully, bountiful with marine life. Not long after, a thunderstorm brewed. Lightning burnt the trees to ashes and the winds stirred the oceans into a frenzy. The lightness became fused with darkness, and the world became a whirlwind of light and dark, positivity and negativity. The trees began to weep, however birds resiliently continued to sing. The Oppressor, who was once a being of virtue and equality was deeply affected by the darkness and was overcome by greed and evil.
