Cyclical Suffering – Cyclical Light

Children suffer greatly in developing countries, their childhoods often filled with distress and misfortune. Global issues such as poverty and child marriage contribute significantly to such anguish. Both poverty and child marriage strip children of their innocence, ensuring that many mature at a young age. Child marriage and poverty both hugely inflict young girls and women in developing countries, making women's rights a huge aspect of Cyclical Suffering – Cyclical Light.Cyclical Suffering – Cyclical Light is meant to encompass all these components. To strip children of their childhood is inhumane, as often the children suffer greatly. This suffering is represented through various symbols in Cyclical Suffering – Cyclical Light. Consisting of three human-like structures, encompassed by a large open sphere structure, our shaman represents the stages of life of a girl living in poverty.
